Rachel became solo artist after the breakup of their band  'Ordinary Lies'  in 2017. A desire to play live led them to busking at Granville Island Public Market in Vancouver BC and they worked up a set that drew from the songs and sounds of the 60s and 70s. Fans wanted to stream songs that drew from the folk songs they heard at GI so Rachel released Perspectives. Influences of Dylan, Neil Young, and Springsteen can be found in Rachel’s music along with stories of hard living and love.
